Experience

A professional architect, soon to be an Urbanist / Spatial Planner, with about 3 year’s work experience. Relevant experience in a variety of architectural projects and Urban designing project. Relevant experience in Transit Oriented Development project(s) and Multi-Modal Integration. Currently in the Thesis semester of Post-Graduation studies for the award of M.Sc in Urbanism & Strategic Planning (Majors: Spatial Planning) from K.U. Leuven, Belgium.

 

  • A professionally experienced architect with 3 years of work experience; with about 1 year experience during graduation and about 1.5 years work experience during the Post Graduation studies.

  • Academic Urban Design, City & Regional Planning project experience(s) in countries like India, Belgium, Indonesia etc. through graduation & post graduation period(s).

  • Professional Urban Design & Strategic Zoning experience in Transit Oriented development & Multi-Modal Integration project of Delhi Metro Phase 3, during 2013/14.

  • Professional experiences in a variety of Architectural projects (residential, hospitality) and site-planning project’s (housing schemes, recreational facility).

  • Subjective inclination towards Mobility-based Urban Design, City Planning, Urban Studies, Trans-Disciplinary approaches in research investigation.

- Fostered and maintained a collaborative professional working relationship with the project leadership team.

- Discussed design standards and procedures with the directors of the organizations for the project design and its architecture.

- Acted as a core team member for a different architectural of different scales. (residential, housing, hospitality etc).  


2. Architecture Organism, Anand, Gujarat, India - (January 2015 - present) - EXTERNAL DESIGN CONSULTANT

- Fostered and maintained a collaborative professional working relationship with the project leadership team.

- Discussed design standards and procedures with the directors of the organizations of various architectural projects.


3. Kaimal Chatterjee & Associates (K.C.A), New Delhi, India - (December 2013 - August 2014) - PROJECT ARCHITEC

- Responsible Architect & Urban Designer role for the project of (T.O.D) Multi-Modal Integration of Delhi Metro Rail Phase-3 development.

- Created oral and written presentations for project designs and proposals.

- Supervised a team of interns & junior architects through the duration of the various projects.

- Coordinated the project team in the development of preliminary and final design documents.

- Monitored the design process from conceptual phase through detail development phase. 


4. Virtual Wonders Inc, Vadodara, Gujarat, India - (January 2012 - May 2012)

- PART-TIME STUDENT ARCHITECT - Drafted detailed drawings of structures, specifying dimensions and materials needed.

- Discussed design standards and procedures with the directors of design and architecture.

- Main role as a project draftsman responsible for the completion of project drawings (design & technical).

- ARCHITECTURAL APPRENTICE - Drafted detailed drawings of structures, specifying dimensions and materials needed. - Reported on status of design process to project architect & principal architect.

- Completed conceptual design & design drawings for a number of projects.

- Completed design detailing and its on-site execution of an Earthquake Shelter prototype post earthquake in Sikkim, 2011.

- Successful field-work documentation of tribal & rural houses for a design research for the office.

- Drafted technical write-ups for proposals and projects.
