LJKU conducted a faculty training program on
Academic Writing for Research and AI
on 2nd March 2024 as part of its ICT-based capacity-building initiatives. Led by Dr. Paresh Patel, this training emphasized the use of digital platforms and AI tools for academic writing, research documentation, and publication processes. A remarkable 342 faculty members from diverse disciplines successfully completed the training, equipping themselves with the knowledge to effectively leverage ICT and artificial intelligence in their research and scholarly writing practices.

Development of E-Content through Information & Communication Technology (ICT)
On 9th August 2022, LJKU organized a specialized faculty training program on Development of E-Content through Information & Communication Technology (ICT), led by Dr. Neha Mehta. The session aimed at enhancing faculty competence in creating digital learning materials using modern ICT tools and platforms. A total of 130 faculty members successfully completed the training, gaining hands-on experience in designing, developing, and delivering engaging e-content that supports student-centric and technology-integrated teaching practices.

Crafting Excellence with AI Tools
As part of its ICT-enabled faculty development series, LJKU conducted a training session titled Crafting Excellence with AI Tools on 12th July 2022, facilitated by Mr. Hardik Shah. This session focused on empowering faculty to utilize artificial intelligence tools for academic and administrative excellence. With 175 faculty members successfully completing the program, the training offered practical insights into AI-assisted research, content generation, and workflow optimization—reinforcing LJKU’s vision for digital empowerment in higher education.
Creating E-Content through Edmodo
LJKU conducted a focused ICT training program titled Creating E-Content through Edmodo from 21st to 23rd July 2021, facilitated by Dr. Bhavin Shah. This training aimed to familiarize faculty with Edmodo, a powerful platform for virtual classrooms and content delivery. A total of 39 faculty members successfully completed the training, learning to design interactive, student-focused e-content and utilize digital tools for effective online teaching and learning management.
Step into Lecture Recording with ApowerSoft
On 25th November 2021, LJKU organized a practical training session on Step into Lecture Recording with ApowerSoft, led by Dr. Maulin Shah. This ICT-enabled program was designed to help faculty master the use of screen recording and video creation tools to enhance the delivery of asynchronous lectures. A significant number of 195 faculty members successfully completed the training, gaining the skills to create high-quality, recorded educational content tailored for diverse learning needs.
Hands-On Training of Statistical Methods (BIOSTAT)
LJKU’s commitment to ICT-integrated research training was reflected in the Hands-On Training of Statistical Methods (BIOSTAT) held on 29th January 2022 under the guidance of Dr. Sweta Patel. This program focused on the application of biostatistical tools and software in academic research, particularly within life sciences and health-related disciplines. A total of 36 faculty members successfully completed the training, equipping themselves with essential skills in data analysis, interpretation, and statistical reporting using ICT resources.
Effective Use of Zoom and Google Meet for Enhancing Classroom Teaching
On 1st July 2020, LJKU organized an ICT training program titled Effective Use of Zoom and Google Meet for Enhancing Classroom Teaching, conducted by Mr. Alpesh Thesiya. This training aimed to strengthen faculty proficiency in using digital video conferencing tools for effective online teaching and student engagement. A total of 62 faculty members successfully completed the program, acquiring practical skills in hosting, managing, and delivering interactive virtual classes using Zoom and Google Meet—key platforms during the shift to remote education.
Role of Cloud Computing in Bioinformatics
LJKU conducted a specialized faculty development program on Role of Cloud Computing in Bioinformatics on 10th August 2020, led by Dr. Monica Gahlawat. This ICT-integrated training focused on introducing faculty to cloud-based platforms and tools relevant to data storage, analysis, and computational processes in bioinformatics. A total of 25 faculty members successfully completed the training, gaining insights into leveraging cloud technologies for research and academic applications in the life sciences domain.
