Physiotherapy knowledge:

Possess an understanding & knowledge of the scientific basis of Physiotherapy, principles of biological functions & analysis of scientific data & facts. Demonstrate an adequate understanding of the effects of disease on normal bodily functions & to apply this in the evaluation, management & rehabilitation of patients.

Planning abilities:

Demonstrate effective patient evaluation & treatment planning skills including time management & follow-up program

Communication Skills:

Demonstrate effective communication skills with patients, caregivers, other scientific/ medical personnel & community at large with regard to health promotion, education & rehabilitation

  Professional Identity & Ethics:

Understand, analyze & communicate their professional role in the society (health promoters, rehabilitation specialists, health educators, employers, employee, managers). Demonstrate an understanding of human values & humanitarian approach in patient care. Apply ethical principles during day to day professional practice & take ownership of results/outcome of treatment

Master of Physiotherapy in Musculoskeletal Sciences:

PSO1: Apply advanced assessment and manual therapy techniques to diagnose and manage 

complex musculoskeletal dysfunctions using evidence-based practices.

PSO2: Design and implement personalized rehabilitation programs to restore function, 

enhance mobility, and prevent recurrence in orthopedic and sports-related conditions.

 

Master of Physiotherapy in Neurological Sciences:

PSO1: Perform comprehensive neurological evaluations and plan goal-oriented 

physiotherapy interventions based on neuroplasticity and motor control principles.

PSO2: Integrate advanced techniques such as neuromodulation and community-based neuro-

rehabilitation to improve patient independence and quality of life.

 

Master of Physiotherapy in Cardiopulmonary Sciences:

PSO1: Assess and manage a wide range of cardiac and pulmonary conditions using clinical 

reasoning and advanced physiotherapeutic strategies.

PSO2: Design, implement, and monitor cardiopulmonary rehabilitation programs in hospital, 

ICU, and community settings to optimize functional capacity.

 

Master of Physiotherapy in Rehabilitation:

PSO1: Evaluate individual and population-level health needs and deliver physiotherapy 

services using community-based rehabilitation models.

PSO2: Promote inclusive rehabilitation through ergonomic interventions, vocational training, 

and public health education in diverse community environments.
