1. Successfully completed the election process during the 1996 General Elections when appointed by the Election Commission as Presiding Officer for duty in Surat, Gujarat.
2. Has participated in essay competitions organized by the Embassy of Argentina, New Delhi in 1992 and by Indian Science Congress Association in 1990 and has won prizes.
3. Successfully guided PhD scholars to complete their programme under Gujarat Technological University (GTU). Out of 6 PhD scholars, 3 have been awarded the PhD degree and 2 are pursuing the programme. Also successfully guided a PhD scholar to complete the programme when I was formerly a PhD guide with the Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology University (CEPT), Ahmedabad.
4. Was awarded certificate of excellence for successfully completing task organized by the RBI Cell of the Department of Banking & Business Finance, M. S. University of Baroda under a RBI Sponsored Workshop in December 18-21, 1988.
