Generative AI equips IT students with cutting-edge skills in AI-driven development, enhancing their career prospects in tech, research, and innovation. It enables automation, creativity, and smarter solutions across industries, making them future-ready professionals. To support this, the  Department of M.Sc. (IT), LJ School of Computer Applications (LJICA), Lok Jagruti Kendra University (LJKU)  has organized a workshop for students of  Sem IX , conducted by  Prof. Ingle Virendasinh U , under the guidance of  honorable HOD Dr. Jignesh Doshi   to enhance students' practical understanding and application of this emerging field. Around 40 students attended the session.

This hands-on workshop introduced participants to Generative AI and its transformative role in software development, especially through AI-powered code editors like Cursor . Participants explored how tools like Cursor leverage GPT-4 and LLMs (Large Language Models) to write, debug, and refactor code using natural language.
