A Hackathon 1.0, a 11day program was organized for the final year students of BBA and post graduate students of IMBA-5year Program. This was a collaboration with a The Family Member, a company seeking solutions for their imminent problems. Students worked on the problems to bring forth solutions for the company. The following pre-event and activities, process and schedule are as below:

1. Compulsory Participation of Sem 6 and Sem 8 students.

• Sem 6 - to be considered as Entrepreneurship subject presentation.

• Sem 8 – to be considered as Strategic Management subject presentation

• Those groups who move to the final round will be given full 10 marks for the subject presentation

• Sem 6- 9 groups were selected for the final round

• Sem 8- 4 groups were selected for final round 

2. Participants were in groups of five, groups were made by the students themselves

Process:

• The entire process from conceptualization to the Finale took 11 days

• Company will make a presentation to the students on the topics mentioned below:27 Jan 2023- 8th February 2023

• Academic mentoring was done specialization wise: Faculties of HR/Marketing/MIS mentored students from Dates: 30 Jan-1 Feb 2023

• The company professionals came in to answer student queries on 3 Feb 2023

• The first round of screening was held on 4 Feb 2023.

• The final round was held on 7-8 Feb 2023.

• There were 6 panels for screening students.

• Each panel had identified the best teams and guide them for the final round.

• The company personnel can take one or two days to decide the final winner.

• Cash rewards and Certificates were given to the students.

• Cash Rewards: First Prize: Rs. 8000/- Second Prize: Rs. 6000/- Third Prize: Rs. 4000/-
