Introduction

LJ University, through its Institute of Event Management, organized an exciting and vibrant event titled "Mr. and Ms. LJ"—a platform to recognize and celebrate the diverse talents and personalities of students from across the university. The first round of this much-awaited event took place on 7th February 2024 at Urban Chawk, drawing an enthusiastic response from the student community.

Event Format

The first round was designed as a Talent and Question-Answer round, encouraging participants to showcase their skills, confidence, and stage presence. The event provided a great opportunity for students to express themselves through various performances including dance, music, drama, fashion walk, and more.

Participation and Jury

From LJ School of Computer Applications (LJSCA), around 25 students participated in the Mr. and Ms. LJ competition. Out of these, 5 students advanced to the semifinal talent round, showcasing their potential among participants from a total of 15 institutes.

Among the esteemed jury members was Prof. Sona Thakkar from LJ School of Computer Applications, who was invited to contribute her insights and judgment to the talent round.

Conclusion

The first round of Mr. and Ms. LJ was a resounding success, marked by vibrant participation, enthusiastic performances, and a celebration of individuality. The LJ Institute of Event Management ensured smooth execution and professional presentation, setting a high benchmark for the upcoming rounds.
