New Era for Digital Trade & Export Businesses
LJ Integrated MBA (School of Management Studies) organized a one - day seminar on IND-AUS ECTA: New Era for Digital Trade & Export Businesses on 11th January, 2023. The agreement between India and Australia is expected to give a boost to exports and paves the path for regional economic integration delivering higher trade volumes and encourage mid to long term investments.
The India-Australia Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (INDAUS ECTA) covers almost all tariff lines dealt in by India and Australia respectively. India will benefit from preferential market access provided by Australia on 100% of its tariff lines and India will be offering preferential access to Australia on over 70% of its tariff lines.
The
keynote speaker is Mr. Vatsal Makim, strategist and consultant of International
Business.
He
works as an advisor to different companies serving large verticals and has
worked as a strategic business consultant to numerous companies and clients. He
shared strategies, facts and other details which impact
of the Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement between India and Australia.
The guest speaker is Mr. Ashit Shah, Director, Inno Pharma LLP focus on the background of Free trade agreements and ECTA, explaining the impact of ECTA on delivering higher trade volumes especially in Pharma and Agri –businesses.
As management scholars, this subject will expand the student’s scope of understanding, their knowledge which will draw their attention to focus on avenues leading to faster growth of economies by exploiting home - grown resources and skills.
