B. Template for Student’s PPT :

Issues broadly listed by company are:

Innovative solutions -  virtual systems (app screen changes), marketing ideas, commercial ideas (changes in rate, margins, discounts etc), with proper end to end documentation, interviews, analysis, data capturing etc.

Direct/ Issues relating to company:

Problem 1

• Even after we can give Rs.5 per washed waste milk pouch, why consumers are not excited to adopt this and start giving it for recycling.

Problem 2

• Ahmedabad has 15 lakhs of students (Age 5 yrs to 19 yrs).

• Every school, college, university teach about importance of air, water, land and it’s pollution.

• Students have the most innocent and adaptable minds.

• Why the waste recycling and segregation rate is too low?

• How we can motivate these students to drive change in their houses to increase waste segregation using Recycle.Green app?

Problem 3

• Recycle.Green app downloads vs registration has a big gap.

• Out of approx 100 downloads only 50 are registering to use it forward.

• Why is it and how can we increase registrations to 100%?

Problem 4

• Recycle.Green has got patented ESV® (Environmental Saving Value).

• Every recycled / eco friendly product can be derived with actual numbers of Tree Savings, Co2 Savings, Water Pollution Savings, Air Pollution Savings, Land Pollution Savings.

• Any individual/business can track what’s ESV for them.

• ESG (Environment Sustainability Governance) is a compulsion for all big industries, corporates, organization. They have to report this to government, SEBI every year.

• All ESV Saving certificates can be easily produced against them.

• Currently hardly even 0.1% of industries across Ahmedabad are adopting recycled products.

• First why they are not moving to recycled products if it is mandatory?

• How we can increase consumption of recycled products to companies, government, industries across Ahmedabad.

Problem 5

• Current partners who are putting more effort into the collection of waste.

• If they come on App, they get automatic orders without shouting and moving across, they can do more waste collection.

• They can even be delivery partner for delivering recycled and zero waste brand products which is an additional revenue in the same effort.

• Why current waste collectors are not taking this option to increase their income and livelihood?

=======STRATEGIC ISSUES =======

Problem 6

• Ahmedabad has 15 lakhs students (Age 5 yrs to 19 yrs).

• Every school, college, university teach that paper is made after cutting a tree.

• 60 Kgs of recycled paper use can prevent cutting of 1 tree.

• Every student use almost 6 kgs ( 200 gms per book x 30 books = 6000 gms) per year.

• Total 90 lakh Kgs of paper equivalent of 1.5 lakh of trees can be saved using recycled paper.

• Only Ahmedabad can save such a huge trees from cutting on this planet.

• Why all these students of Ahmedabad are not opting for Recycled Paper & how can consumption of recycled paper to be increased.

• By what time we can convert these 15 lakh students to recycled paper?

Problem 7

• Each paper can be recycled 7 times.

• 15 lakh students of Ahmedabad, use 30 books, 6 Kgs of Paper + Text Book almost 10 Kgs = 16 Kgs of paper.

• If given for pasti – gives around Rs.5 per kg = Rs.80 per year per student.

• Recycle.Green notebooks (recycled paper), after use when given back we give Rs.5 per notebook. That means only 30 notebooks = Rs.150/- plus 10 Kgs x Rs.5 = 50 = Rs.200/- per year.

• Clear benefit of Rs.120/- per year per student.

• Why all these students are not opting to use Recycle.Green recycled paper note book (2 benefits – tree savings + money savings while giving back).

• How can Recycle.Green notebooks sales can be increased ?

Problem 8

• As per scientists’ analysis global warming and climate change will create huge problems for next generation.

• All students can see many problems in their lives.

• Recycling waste can help 2 ways – 1st reduce pollution, CO2 emission and 2nd save trees, save crude oil and precious earth resources which can be used for coming generation.

• Why still young generation is not taking this seriously to recycle the waste ?

• How we can create value of waste in the eyes of new generation?

• Currently we have active 3000 families across Ahmedabad. However, there are at least 20 lakh families across Ahmedabad. How Recycle.Green penetration and usage in youngsters can be increased in Ahmedabad?

Problem 9

• Govt of India has made a mandatory EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility). • https://Eprplastic.cpcb.gov.in

• Every plastic packaging brand owner / producer has to compulsorily take back plastic

packaging and demonstrate 100% recycling of the plastics put in the market.

• In the city of Ahmedabad itself there is none brand educating consumers to give back plastic packaging waste back for recycling.

• There are 20 lakh families, generating approx 20 Kgs of plastic every year =4,00,00,000.

• Why these brands who are using plastic packaging are not educating their customers to give back and how can we at least target 10% of plastic collection back – 4 lakh Kgs in 2023-24.

Problem 10

• Plastic waste can be converted into beautiful purses, pouches, bags and many more.

• There are 2 ways – upcycling and recycling.

• 1 kg of plastic which is just Rs.5 per kg can create 3 to 4 upcycled bags – which can be sold almost 400 to 500 per bag.

• This has very good international demand and market and has a huge export potential.

• Waste to value is almost 50 to 80 times.

• Why still new businesses / artisans / entrepreneurs are not taking this route when it solves both the problems of waste reduction plus profit making?

• How can we have more artisans / partners making these and become seller on Recycle. Green app.
