It is a platform given to the future managers to find rapid solutions of interesting business problems and real-world challenges.
Hackathon 5.0, was a 10-day program organised for the final year students of BBA and post graduate students of IMBA-5year Program. This was a collaboration with Prabhat Education Foundation, a start-up seeking solutions for their imminent problems of branding, visibility, creating an apt business revenue generation model for proposed solutions. Students worked on the problems to bring forth solutions for the company. The following pre-event and activities, process and schedule are as below:
1. Compulsory Participation of Sem 6 and Sem 8 students.
o Sem 6 – Evaluation to be considered for all 6 subject case study in the semester.
o Sem 8 – Evaluation to be considered for all 4 subject case study in the semester.
o Those groups who move to the final round were given full 10 marks for the subject presentations
o Sem 6- 11 groups were selected for the final round
o Sem 8 – 7 groups were selected for final round
2. Participants were in groups of five. The groups were made by the students themselves.
Process :
· The entire process from conceptualization to the Finale took 10 days
· Company made a presentation to the students on the topics mentioned on 31st January2025 followed by a doubt solving session on 1st February 2025.
· Students approached respective faculties for mentoring as desired.
· The first round of screening was done by 11 panels held on 6th February 2025 and 7th February 2025.
· The final round was held for 52 groups on 06th and 07th Oct 2025 .
· Each panel had identified the best teams and guided them for the final round.
· The company personnel took one day to decide the final winner.
· Prabhat Education Foundation, being a start-up offered Internship opportunity to the final round students and a consolation gift(books) and certificates for the winners. Certificates were awarded to the students.
