The Institute has a very organized placement process which is organized with the support of L J Industry Interaction and Placement Cell.
Pre-Placement Process
The Institute has a devoted placement cell and placement team that functions round the year and communicates and liaisons with companies for placement and internships. The placement team along with full time skill trainers and faculty members conduct an Executive Personality Development Program to prepare student for the corporate world. This process is undertaken to prepare students for final placement.
Summer Internship Placement
Summer Internship Placement or Summer Internship
Program (SIP) is an integral part of the LJKU academic curriculum of MBA. It is
scheduled between
completion of 2
nd
semester, i.e.
1
st
year and commencement of 3
rd
semester, i.e.
2
nd
year. The duration of SIP is 6 weeks to 8 weeks. Students
are required to take first-hand experience of the corporate world and apply
subjects that they have studied in practice. They get an opportunity to explore
the organization/corporate in which they are working and build relationship
with the employer. SIP includes working with a Project Mentor from the
organization and also with the Faculty Mentor from the institute.

Pre-SIP Training
At LJMBA students are provided pre-placement training for summer placement process. All the students are placed for internship through the institute. Students are work with project mentors from company and faculty mentor to learn and develop skills required by the industry. During the internship and after the completion, the institute conducts performance audit of students. The faculty member visits the company where the students pursue internship to meet the company mentor for student feedback. The students are trained on the skills lacking during their final placement process.
Final Placement Process
The placement team invites different companies to campus. The company interested in coming for final placement shares its job description and profile which is shared with all the students. All interested students are required to send their latest resumes to the placement team. The placement team that conducts a company specific training which includes;

Mock written exam on the lines of written exams conducted by the company.

Mock group discussion on the lines of group discussion conducted by company.
3.
Mock interviews.
4.
Training sessions by alumni who are already working in that company.
Once the training is through, the company is
invited to campus for a pre-placement talk. It is important for all interested
students to sit for the pre-Placement talk. In case the profile does not match
the interest of the student, she/he has the choice to opt out. The student is
free to ask questions and satisfy all doubts linked to her/his career in that
company during the pre-placement talk. Once the talk is over, the placement
process begins and the end of which the selected candidates are given offer
letters.
