Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence and the glorious history of it's people, culture and achievements.

This Mahotsav is dedicated to the people of India who have not only been instrumental in bringing India thus far in its evolutionary journey but also hold within them the power and potential to enable Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of activating India 2.0, fueled by the spirit of Aatmanirbhar Bharat. 

The official journey of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav commenced on 12th March 2021 which started a 75-week countdown to our 75th anniversary of independence and will end post a year on 15th August 2023.

LJIMBA- 5 Year Integrated MBA (IMBA) organized ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ on 12th and 13th August. 2022. 

75 students enthusiastically participated in various activities like Dancing, Singing, Drawing, T-shirt painting, Fancy dress, Rangoli, Painting, Monologue, Quiz and Poetry recitation organized on the theme of freedom. Duri ng the mime of 'Uri', the students made India by their postures.

The assistance for the event was provided by Asst. Prof. Hardik Solanki and the entire program was successfully conducted by the senior batch students under the guidance of director in charge Dr. Richa Mandan. 

Learnings: 

India’s Independence is a hard-earned one. Several people have sacrificed their lives to secure India’s future. We live free only because fighters of the past took consistent actions against domination and injustice. Great leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, all have their indelible contributions in developing India’s identity as a free and independent nation. The Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrates this very spirit of indomitability, truth and progress which are the hallmarks of the nation.
