Summary of Projects
With a wide experience of designing, executing and managing the projects from scratch to its positive feasibility report, sharing few landmark projects that I have worked upon in my small professional career.
• Detailed design of Convention Complex, Jodhpur. Worked on full fledged Convention center supported by allied facilities including 5 star hotel, complexes and convention space catering to 5000 people capacity. Worked upon tourism strategy, feasibility studies, detailed project report, public private partnership module and design as well. • Redevelopment of housing tenements, Ahmedabad and Surat. Worked upon the decapitated housing redevelopment project of 800 tenements with focus on stakeholders, beneficiaries and developer’s profit. Project was on PPP mode and turned out to be lucrative for public and private partner both. • Lakefront development and rejuvenation of lakes of Surat. Development of seven lakefronts in the city with design solutions to specific direct stakeholders and including specific amenities as per the requirement of each waterfront project. • Beautification of urban scape, Jodhpur Design and developed a heritage stretch of 8 kilometers in the heritage city of Jodhpur connecting different cultural spaces with functional pocketsfor the users. • Lighthouse development The Indian ministry have selected few potential lighthouse spaces to be developed as coastal focal points for tourists. Designed a group of amenities and spaces of functional and cultural urban scape around the existing two such lighthouses
Academic experience
• Working as a Program coordinator for a Masters program of Urban and Regional Planning. • Single handedly Developed a new academic masters program for university as MUDM (Masters in Development and Management) which is in enrollment stage of first batch. • Working as Assistant professor for Bachelors program in Architecture teaching core subjects including Humanities, History of Architecture, Building and construction techniques and co faculty in other studio based subjects. • Written and presented a heritage theme research paper at a Global PTHR conference at Colorado , USA.
