Scope

After completing the GNM program, graduates can pursue a variety of roles in the healthcare industry, such as:

Staff Nurse: Providing general nursing care in hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities.

Midwife: Assisting women during childbirth and providing postnatal care.

Community Health Nurse: Working in community health programs to promote health and prevent diseases.

Nurse Educator: Teaching and training nursing students in nursing colleges.

Home Care Nurse: Providing nursing care to patients at home, including elderly care and post-surgery care.

Nurse Supervisor: Supervising nursing staff and coordinating patient care in healthcare settings.

Health Worker: Promoting health education, immunizations, and disease prevention in rural and urban communities.

10+2 with Science or General stream and minimum qualifying marks as determined by ACPUGMEC.
