LJ Polytechnic has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Ford Motor India to provide training for employees at its Sanand Vehicle Assembly & Engine Plant (SVAEP). Since August 2013, over 5200 employees have undergone comprehensive training covering technical and behavioral skills, including aspects like organizational culture, safety, quality, basic engineering, vehicle and powertrain operation, communication, presentation, spoken English, conflict management, emotional intelligence, teamwork, time management, attitude, discipline, 5S, corporate etiquette, and physical activities. The course material has been collaboratively designed by LJ Polytechnic trainers and the SVAEP HR Training Team.


Furthermore, LJ Polytechnic has also partnered with Toyota Kirloskar Motors Bengaluru for the Service Advisor Toyota Technical Education Programme (SA T-TEP). A state-of-the-art automobile workshop has been developed for this program, aimed at producing service advisors for the Toyota Dealer Network. More than 100 Service Advisors trained through this program have been successfully placed in Toyota Dealer Networks across Gujarat.


Additionally, LJ Polytechnic has provided training to over 350 employees of Suzuki Motor Gujarat Pvt. Ltd. for their Mehsana Plant. Another significant milestone is the establishment of the Joint Skill Development Centre (JSDC) in collaboration with Ashok Leyland, the first-ever center of its kind for Ashok Leyland in Gujarat. This center is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to develop a skilled workforce using the latest technology in the automobile industry.


LJ Polytechnic has extended its reach beyond the automotive sector, signing an MOU with Sodexo to train workers for various industries. The institute has also collaborated with ISRO to train their employees for C2D (Diploma Engineering) and partnered with Wizfinity Edusolutions Pvt. Ltd for industry-based training.
