Objective:
The main objective of this industrial visit was to provide students with first-hand experience of how a UI/UX-based IT company functions in a real-world environment. It aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practices by allowing students to:
Understand the software development lifecycle (SDLC) in a professional setting.
Explore current trends, tools, and practices in UI/UX design, web, and mobile application development.
Interact with professionals and gain insights into real-world project management, teamwork, and client handling.
Learn how a small-scale IT startup like 14 Nodes manages design thinking, agile development, and client requirements.

1. Introduction to the Company
14 Nodes IT Pvt. Ltd. is an Ahmedabad-based IT company that specializes in UI/UX design, mobile app development, and web technologies. Established in 2020, the company has earned a reputation for delivering client-centric, agile digital solutions using modern tech stacks like Node.js, Angular, Laravel, Flutter, and design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, and CorelDRAW.
2. Understanding the IT Industry Pyramid
The company team explained the IT Industry Pyramid, detailing the different job layers from entry-level (like interns and junior developers) to mid-level (team leads, analysts) and senior roles (project managers, architects). This helped students understand how career growth typically progresses in IT firms.
3. Roles & Responsibilities in the IT Sector
Students learned about the specific roles in UI/UX, such as:
