The Library is not just a place to acquire information and knowledge, but also a mirror to an institute’s public image. In this light, it is pertinent to develop, improve, and maintain the library on a continuous basis. The Library currently has a rich collection of books, dictionaries, encyclopedias, journals, magazines, reports, book photocopies, etc.
The library is a visual treat since its transformation from the earlier ‘avatar’ a few years back. It has wall-to-wall glass sliding-door book shelves. This created significant floor space for systematic table-chair arrangement facilitating reading and study. Every space, besides the floor, has been utilized for the arrangement and display of newspapers, journals, magazines, faculty members’ publications, and reports. Every reading material is bar-coded and computers are available to the user for book search and other library related information.
Besides there is a space exclusively for faculty members only where they can read, research, and utilize other resources that can benefit them. The place justifies itself as a centre of learning and acquisition of knowledge.
