The  School of Computer Applications at  L J University  successfully organised the  2nd International Conference on Recent Advances in Engineering and Computer Applications  on  January 24–25, 2025 , in a  hybrid format , enabling both  on-site and virtual participation . The conference focused on cutting-edge trends and innovations in engineering and computer science.

Conference Highlights

  • 👥 Nearly 1,000 participants  (in-person and online), including researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and students

  • 🌐 Hybrid format allowed global participation and wider accessibility

Two distinguished experts shared their insights during the keynote sessions:

  • Dr. Kiran Trivedi  –  University of Wollongong (Australia–India Campus)
    Topic: AI Agents and Their Role in Modern Intelligent Systems

  • Dr. Sayan Ray Kumar  –  Taylor’s University, Malaysia
    Topic: Cyber Attacks and Cyber security: Challenges and Defences

Poster Presentation and Awards

A vibrant  poster session  showcased over  90 posters , allowing researchers to present and discuss their work in an interactive format.

🏆 Best Paper Awards  were presented to top research papers across various tracks.
🏅 Best Poster Presentation Award  was awarded to the most engaging and impactful poster.

Publication Opportunity

Selected high-quality papers will be published in a  Special Issue  of the  Journal of Information and Optimisation Sciences (JIOS) —a  Web of Science (WoS) indexed journal —scheduled for release in  March 2026 .
