Pre-conference workshop Report

A pre-conference workshop on “Academic Writing and Scientific Communication Skills” was successfully conducted with the objective of motivating and guiding first-time conference participants. The workshop aimed to strengthen participants’ understanding of research writing, paper structuring, and effective scientific presentation techniques.

The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 60 attendees, including research scholars, postgraduate students, and early-stage academicians. The workshop was designed to address the common challenges faced by new researchers in drafting research papers, structuring manuscripts, selecting appropriate journals, and confidently presenting their work at conferences.

The key highlights of the workshop included:

·        Clarity, coherence, and logical flow in scientific manuscripts

·        Avoiding plagiarism and maintaining research ethics

·        Effective abstract and title writing strategies

·        Best practices for conference paper presentation

The session was interactive, encouraging participants to engage in discussions, ask questions, and reflect on their writing practices. Practical insights and real-world examples were shared to enhance understanding and applicability.

The feedback received from participants was highly encouraging. Many attendees expressed that the workshop significantly boosted their confidence in preparing and presenting academic work. Participants appreciated the clarity of explanation and the practical orientation of the session.
