                            LJKU Students Develop Smart River Cleaning Boat


                            Students from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering have designed an innovative smart boat named "EcoWaste-Wager" to address water pollution and floating waste in rivers and lakes.
                            Developed under the guidance of faculty members, the prototype utilizes motors, sensors, batteries, and microcontroller-based technology to collect floating waste and aquatic weeds efficiently. The boat can operate in narrow water channels and is capable of collecting approximately 1.5 kilograms of waste in a single round.
                            The project demonstrates how engineering solutions can contribute to environmental sustainability and cleaner water bodies. In the future, the team aims to further automate the system and integrate advanced technologies for large-scale deployment.

                              LJKU Hosts International Conference on Recent Advances in Engineering and Technology (ICRAET)

                               

                              The LJ Institute of Engineering and Technology (LJIET), a constituent institute of Lok Jagruti Kendra University, successfully organized the International Conference on Recent Advances in Engineering and Technology (ICRAET) in association with the IFERP Academy.

                              The two-day conference brought together researchers, academicians, industry experts, and students from India and abroad. The event witnessed participation from 304 delegates, including contributors from several countries.

                              Voice-Controlled Bio-Inspired Robodog Developed for Security and Healthcare Applications



                              Students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering developed an innovative voice-controlled bio-inspired robotic dog designed to support applications in security, surveillance, healthcare, and emergency response. Inspired by the movement and adaptability of animals, the robotic system incorporates advanced sensors, camera modules, embedded electronics, and 3D-printed components to achieve intelligent and responsive operation.

                              The project enables the robot to understand voice commands, navigate its surroundings, and provide situational awareness in environments where human access may be difficult or unsafe. Such technologies have the potential to assist in monitoring activities, conducting inspections, and supporting healthcare and rescue operations.
