About this course

B.Com or Bachelor of Commerce is a three-year undergraduate course. B.Com is the most popular undergraduate course in the Commerce branch. In the B.Com course, candidates are taught core subjects related to commerce and finance. In the three-year duration, the candidates are given options to choose from a few elective subjects too. The programme is usually spread over six semesters during which the student is taught topics like financial accounting, corporate tax, economics, company law, auditing, business management, etc.

 Scope

After completion of B.Com the  students will have myriad  opportunities for building their  careers. Candidates can work in  public as well as in private sector. The aspirants can apply for  government jobs like bank, UPSC, etc. The students can  pursue the courses of CA and CS  during/after B.Com. We at NLJCC  prepare the students for jobs  related to accounting, finance, auditing, corporate laws and  taxation. 

The course is designed to  provide students with a wide  range of managerial skills and  understanding in streams like  finance, accounting, taxation  and management.

The candidate must have studied Commerce in class 11 and 12 with Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, Maths /optional subject and English as main subjects. Students who studied in other stream also can apply for this course, they have to complete one additional bridge course to become eligible.
